Dr. Ana Popoca-Logue received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in Psychiatric Mental Health NP from UMass Global (formerly Brandman University), Irvine, CA. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of San Diego (2001).
WHY NURSING: Few professions allow us to be of service to other humans at this primordial level, from birth until death. Our patients allow us to be a part of their lives when they are at their most vulnerable; we are allowed to hold their pain, their hopes and dreams, because we've earned their trust, from a collective standpoint. Nursing allows us use of compassion, knowledge, science, integrity, love, humor, pain, dependability, flexibility, often on the same day!
